okay but can we please talk about how people have no idea what “attraction regardless of gender” means
attraction regardless of gender DOES NOT mean
not having a preference
not caring what someone looks like or only caring about someones personality or ~soul~ or whatever
being willing to date literally anyone
being “gender blind” (gross)
hearts not parts (gross)
attraction regardless of gender DOES mean
literally being attracted to someone regardless of their gender
attraction is not action. I can be romantically and physically attracted to a man, but maybe for whatever reason I don’t want to date a man, so I don’t act on my attraction to him. maybe that attraction will fade after I realize I don’t want to date him, or maybe it won’t. none of that goes against the fact that I am attracted to men.
also i’m not talking about being able to find people of any gender aesthetically pleasing, anyone can do that.
a bisexual person with a preference and a bisexual person with no preference both experience attraction regardless of gender. if you are bi you experience attraction regardless of gender.
